I. Consent Agenda of Reports was
approved by the Board of Directors.
II. The Board approved the minutes of the
Annual Meeting of October 25, 2022

IV. Report on Camp Concord 2022: Harriet
Schwartz
This year’s Camp Concord Event was
shortened because of wildfire smoke. All
Rossmoor campers received a refund of
$180.each. Three individuals who had
canceled before the scheduled beginning of the
experience each received refunds of $500.
Next year, 2023. Rossmoor campers will
participate in a Senior Week experience next
year rather than as a separate week and the
event will be entirely managed by Camp
Concord with Rossmoor campers guaranteeing
their own individual payments
V. Report on 2023 Trails Club Budget Prep
Process: Harriet Schwartz
The Board Vice President chairs the Budget
Committee whose membership includes The
Board Vice President, Past President,
Treasurer and one non-Board member.
Projected Club income for 2023 is $7000. vs
$5400 For 2022. This increase is attributed to
the increase in annual dues to $20. The Board
voted to approve the 2023 Trails Club budget
as presented.
V. Summary Review of 2022 Incident
Reports: Harriet Schwartz
It is customary for the Board to review a
summary of the year’s incident reports at the
November Board meeting. That motion was
tabled for consideration at the next Trails Club
Board meeting (Jan 11 2023).
VI. Harriet Schwartz proposed that any new
policies or rules or revisions of existing policies
adopted by the Board be documented and
placed in the handbook and on the TCR
website. The Board moved to approve the
recording of all Board meetings.

I. Membership Report as of October 31, 2022:

During October, Trails Club Group members
who joined during 2022 were contacted to
encourage attendance at the Annual Meeting
potluck and slideshow and also to attend a
special hike leading and website training
session to occur November 10. Reps continue
to receive monthly reports on new members to
help them to welcome them and answer their
questions.
As of October 31, there are 381 Trails Club
members, an increase of 8 from September 30.
Each group added new members. Group
