Newcomer's Meeting

Meet other new members and Club leaders over refreshments and conversation.   We want to encourage you to become more involved in the Club. 

Haven’t yet hiked with the Trails Club?  Need a refresher on how to prepare for hikes? How to decide if a hike is right for you?

• Anne Squire, Club  Webmaster, will demo how to use the Club website and events calendar on your phone or computer. Bring your mobile phone and your password for the Club website (yes, you will need both).

• Experienced hike leaders will be on hand to chat with you and answer your hiking questions.

Aren't sure how to plan and lead hikes? 

• Harriet Schwartz, Hike Leader Training Mentor, will explain how hike leaders choose a trail and prepare to lead.
