MEMBERS FORUM:

Charlene Liu expressed concern via Group Rep Lori Wong about posting holidays on Club Calendar. Following discussion decision was made to remove view.

OLD BUSINESS:

March Potluck was deemed a great success. Board expressed thanks to hosts Idelle Lipman and Molly Clopp.

NEW BUSINESS:

Annual Club Fair, June 6, 10 - 2

Various Board members will be on hand to talk with potential new members.

Current Trails Club members are invited to stop by and get help loading Wild Apricot (Directory & Events) and TeamUp (Calendar) apps on their phones.

Safaris

Safari Guidelines will be reviewed by Safari Committee since last update was 2016.

Safari Committee reported on meeting held April 23rd.

Nov, 2025: Joshua Tree (Road Scholar) Safari approved

Additional research being conducted for potential future Safaris at Asilomar/Monterey, Yosemite, Sun River, OR and Chico, CA.

Nominating Committee will meet in July (date TBD)

Members are Anne Squire (President), Mary Smith (VP), Arlene Kahn (Ambler Rep), Harriet Schwartz (Rambler Rep), Rich Kinsey (Trekker Rep), Marcelle Welch (Scrambler Rep).

Board was asked to solicit for replacement Secretary in the interim.

Board discussed whether the Club should contribute to area park foundations we utilize the most.

Concerns were expressed over the legality based on Club's 501(c)(7) tax status. Review of tax law indicated donations are allowed.

Anne Squire will present the list of parks most heavily utilized based on Hike Calendar data for further discussion at the July meeting,
